Madelyn Powell is a designer and illustrator based in Akron, Ohio. With a BFA in Visual Communication Design at Kent State University, she specializes in graphic design, illustration, and typography. During her time at Kent State, Madelyn refined her skills by working on a variety of projects. In 2020, her art was displayed in the Summit Art Space for their “Art of the Y” exhibit. She was awarded a purchase prize for a painting in 2021 and her work has been published in the Brainchild Magazine. Madelyn maintained a spot on the Dean's List during all four years of college and graduated magna cum laude in May 2025. Madelyn is dedicated to her work and is determined to create high-quality and impactful designs. With each project, she continues to grow as a designer and illustrator.
